I had
a gritty
wrestling match
with my pillow.
So glad I made it out.

It was a gray morning and I was groggy. The muted colors of the early morning were contrasted by the inner glow I had from the three waves that were day makers, my last wave was a gem. Garrett was ready to take off on a beauty, as he was on an SUP, he had the perspective to see that another one was coming before we all could, he let me know the second one was coming so I got into position for it, a nice shoulder high wave that I rode to the sand.
